Welcome to Walking in Watercolours, LLC.  It has been a long-time dream to sell my original art to those who may enjoy adding to their home some of the interpretations of the outdoors I have had the privilege to produce.  An artist never stops learning, and this is particularly true in the world of watercolour!

As a Christian, this endeavour has so much meaning.  The world of the arts is subjective, yet creating images of the Lord's creation frozen in time on a piece of paper or canvas is a gift not to be wasted.

I began my watercolour journey much later in life. My artwork from childhood and early adult years were oils and acrylics with a lot of sketching. Watercolours and their unpredictable behaviours were frustrating and I avoided them at all costs!  At first this seemed so sad and so many years wasted.  But now upon reflection, the joy and freedom maturity brings has been a pleasant surprise.  Watercolours have brought so much healing during times of the deep sorrows in life.  I learned through a terrible loss that this medium and its refusal to be tamed can really bring one out of one's self.
